COUNTING THE REASONS

Sometimes it just takes one person to save a life. The only things that keep Lila going everyday are the reassuring notes that find their ways into her locker each morning. But when the sender of those notes dies unexpectedly, Lila discovers that she wasn't the only one receiving the notes, and she certainly wasn't the only one suffering. Inspired by the notes she once received, Lila takes it upon herself to keep them going, and soon enough, a group of misfits forms to save their friends from a fate that would have been theirs without those letters.

THE CHECKING GAME

Kacie Lyndon thought she had given up hockey for good. After turning down an offer to play at a college out east, she was sure that she could never play again. Sean Hallie, however, wants to get her on the ice. With the help of Mason Johnson, Sean is determined to get Kacie on the hockey team--the men's hockey team. And once Kacie starts playing again, she's not sure she knows how to stop.

UNTIL TOMORROW

Rennie Croft has no regrets. So, why is it that she chooses to roam the earth eternally rather than move on after her early death? Death is lonely when you cannot communicate with the living, after all, and moving on would have been better than this. But there is one person who can give her the company she so desperately desires: Curtis Sevilla. When Ren discovers that Curtis can communicate with the souls of the dearly departed, she decides to make good on her plan to help her suffering brother. Of course, she is not the first one to try to convince Curtis to help her. Curtis has more ghostly friends than living ones, so it is no wonder that he is widely regarded as a freak by the living. In exchange for her help with the living, Ren gets his help with the dead, but she quickly learns that being alive and living are two completely different things.
